Maine Can Do Better was created by Mainers to address the lack of transparency relating to Maine Government; such as legislation, state agencies, departments, boards, and public information.

This site was designed with the everyday citizen in mind as a source of guidance and easy reference for navigating Maine's laws and Agencies designed and designated to serve Mainers.  

• Engage Maine citizens in learning about the State's Branches of Bureaucracy. 
• Encourage Maine citizens to advocate for themselves and one another. 
• Inform Mainers of existing, proposed, and new Legislation.
